In the Special Election of November 2019, I answered the call to bring the voice back to District 2.  I am an engaged and committed board member who advocates on behalf of ALL of Atlanta's children. I hit the ground running adding:

1. A Fresh, Analytical Perspective to the finalization of the Strategic Plan

2. Valuable Input in the selection of our next superintendent

3. Courage and Compassion in leading the community through the renaming of Herman J Russell West End Academy

4. Support and Advocacy for the new Restorative Justice and Trauma Informed policies

5. Accessibility and an Open-mindedness to strengthen relationships and be a bridge within the community

6. Increased Transparency and Accountability via the advocacy and support of the ABOE’s shift to a Student Outcomes Governance Model

7. Sweat Equity and Dedication on the ground volunteering throughout the pandemic and supporting community Food Pantries
